OOC Rules:

1-Mature Game Content:  This board may contain violence, horror, sexual content, and bad language.  Players who are under 18, or do not wish to read this sort of content, do not read content that your character is not involved in.  We will not be held responsible for your choices.  TBV is a creative game environment where the imagination of each player, and our guidelines, are the only elements which dictate our limitations.  Please respect and honor our rules.

2-Posting:  Anyone may submit IC posts to this board, but please play characters in good form within the game platform, and setting, you choose to join.  This is a descriptive RPG.  Any posts by non-approved, non-member characters may be deleted by Board Administrator/GM of TBV at their discretion, if GM decides that posts do not suit the game environment.  Anyone posting OOC spam, or rude BS to this board, will be banned from this forum.  No links are allowed on ANY active rp boards unless posted by the moderators.  Links are only allowed on OOC board if they link to a character webpage, or if Administrator/GM is offering a link.  Submit all characters to xvxlegendsxvx@aol.com for approval and game membership.  Players may post character or setting pictures to any forum on the board.

3-Please take all character and game development, instructions from GM gracefully.  They are meant to help, not to criticize.  Do not take GM's help and comments personally.

4-Never take anything In Character, Out of Character, or anything Out of Character, In Character.  Do not take anything a character does personally.  Taking RP personally will not be tolerated in this RPG.  It is only a game.

5-Character rudeness is perfectly acceptable, but Mun rudeness in inacceptable.  Please be polite to players to maintain a healthy game atmosphere.  If someone does get frustrated and vents, take it gracefully and get over it.  It will pass.  We are all human after all.

6-Never have a character assume to know about a character from a webpage, or from anything posted that is not spoken to your character.  All character knowledge must be learned through RP.  Webpage knowledge is ooc knowledge, and cannot be taken IC.  That is a form of moding.

7-No RhyDin Lingo in this RPG please. (examples: chyld, nae, ravyn, vampyre, wyrd, etc.)  This RPG is in no way affiliated with RhyDin.  Please try to spell correctly and to maintain correct grammer, typo errors aside.  Use punctuation!

8-Character Types Allowed:  Anubian Vampires, Humans, Werewolves, and Werecats.  There are a limited number of Nephalim (2 played, 1 more allowed), Crusaders (5 allowed), and Demons (existing chars visiting), but these characters are little known, very discreet and elusive, and no more are being allowed, with exception of Crusaders, and one more Nephalim (male). 

9-Do not edit posts to change an outcome.  This is moding, and will not be tolerated.  Edit typos and grammatical errors only.  If any player is caught cheating by trying to alter an outcome by editing their post, the player will be banned from our forums, period. 

RP Rules

1-No Moding.  No auto-hits.  All characters are allowed a chance to counter every action taken against them.  Posts count first.  Just because it was posted, does not necessarily mean it happens.  If a character's actions succeed against counters in a post, the character's action succeeds.  If players are unsure of success or failure, send posts to Administrator/GM and GM will decide which action succeeds.  TBV or TMK dice can be rolled to determine questionable outcomes as well. 

2-Rule of fair play:  No indiscriminate killing of Played Characters.  Characters must have a viable reason to kill another character.  Viable reasons include:  A character is threatened, provoked, or attacked.  Allies are threatened or attacked.  Character falls as a casuality of war.  Character is psychotic and a victim meets his requirements for the 'types' the killer targets to murder, etc.

3-Character Interaction is Consent.  If you have your character interact with another character, you consent to playing in that scene.   The choices your character makes in this game matter.  If you dislike the way things are going, talk to the other mun in an IM, and work it out, but keep in mind, most players are just keeping in character when playing.

4-Play decriptively, and as realistically as possible within game platform. Just because the RPG is a fictional setting, does not mean we cannot make the game as believable as possible.  This makes for a far more exciting and fun game atmosphere.

5-Resurrections: All characters are allowed 3 Resurrections.  Resurrections must be played out, and performed by a member character who has the power to Resurrect.
